a Party just for you and your fiancé
Whenever, I think back at when my husband aka "the hubster" proposed and all the rigamarole I put him through- the word that comes to mind is PAR-TAY!! I always crack up at the big ideas I threw at him after the proposal. "Babe, wouldn't it be nice if I changed into 4 different dresses during the ceremony?" Ok, maybe they weren't that ridiculous but close... Real close!
So, why say Party? - Well, when I think of a Party I first begin with a thought of planning. Every good party starts with a good plan. Just because he proposed doesn't make it the brides reality show. It takes two to get married and two to plan a wedding. Thus avoiding big arguments over small things.
I've experienced all these challenges and more. It's hard work but I've found that including your fiancé at the start builds for a better him and a better you. Planning a wedding is challenging enough why not plan a party of simplicity- you will find that all he wants to say is that he contributed.
